The Sr. Network Engineer establishes and maintains networks for on-premises and cloud environments, including SD-WAN, LAN, hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. The Sr. Network Engineer is also responsible for troubleshooting, capacity planning, standards documentation, leading projects, and providing support as a subject matter expert are all regular parts of the role. The Sr. Network Engineer will assist with cross training other team members to increase overall team capabilities and capacity is also expected.

Responsible for leading the efforts for establishes and maintains networking environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Leading the efforts to secure networks by establishing and monitoring security enforcement, policies and defining network access.
Leads projects and collaborates with other internal teams to ensure that business requirements are met in a timely manner.
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Responsible for reporting network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information to communicate with management.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Knowledge sharing through cross training other team members to increase overall team capabilities, skills, and abilities to support the networks.

What we're looking for:
This position will be hybrid and is required to be in-office up to 2 days per week.
B.A. or B.S. in a technical field or a relevant combination of education and experience.
7+ years’ experience building, supporting and troubleshooting cloud environments, including Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
7+ years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers, and monitoring applications.
Strong working knowledge and experience designing and implementing networking solutions that include hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Strong working knowledge of networking protocols and related technologies including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, NAT, IPSEC, SNMP and monitoring platforms.
Strong working knowledge and experience migrating on-premises production environments to cloud platforms.
Experience with audiovisual systems design a plus
AWS Advanced Networking and/or Microsoft Azure Network Engineer certifications preferred.
Design/Implementation experience desired with the following platforms/solution sets:
Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment
Amazon AWS Cloud Environment
Juniper MX and SRX series Routers and Firewalls
Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls and Panorama
F5 Big IP GTM and LTM
RADIUS/TACACS+ authentication protocols
Aruba ClearPass or similar AAA server
Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week as needed
Ability to travel occasionally for projects as needed
Salary Range Description
$108,100.00 - $144,000.00 Annual
The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan.
